What do you hope to achieve being in AVID?
A: I joined AVID to figure out how to apply to a four year university and connect with other first-generation students. My goal was to be accepted into a four-year university and find a supportive community who were in the same position as me.
What are your strengths that you propose as a high leader?
A: I do my best to include everyone no matter the activity or event. One of my biggest strengths is that I’m flexible with anything that is thrown at me. Whether it be Shadow Day or a team building activity, I’m able to work around and make sure things are done.
Q: How do you stay motivated in the role you have for not only the club itself, but others that you are showcasing (staff/teachers/etc)?
A: My religious beliefs help me stay motivated. Whenever I help or become more involved in school or participate in AVID activities, I see how happy and grateful the Buena community becomes. I strive to be as best of a person I can be, and being and respecting the title of AVID Co-President is a version of myself I am proud of.

Q: What are your strengths that you propose as a high leader?

Q: How do you stay motivated in the role you have for not only the club itself, but others that you are showcasing (staff/teachers/etc)?
