Seniors get ready to take on next chapter in life

With mere days left in the school year, seniors are preparing for the next step in their education, college. New schools and new challenges with feelings of excitement and nervousness.
ASB president Ella Haas:
Q: What school will you be attending?
A: “I will be going to the University of Utah,” Haas said.
Q: What are you planning to major in?
A: “I will major in nursing,” Hass said.
Q: How prepared are you for college?
A: “I’m prepared for the academic aspects rather than meeting people,” Hass said.
Q: What do you look forward to the most?
A: “I look forward to the spirit section and being able to support a PAC 12 School,” Hass said.
Senior Taylor Harris
Q: What school will you be attending?
A: “I will be going to the University of Colorado at Boulder,” Harris said.
Q: What do you plan to major in?
A: “I’m planning to major in communication,” Harris said.
Q: How do you feel about this next step in your life?
A: “I am very excited, the school feels welcoming,” Harris said.
Q: Is there any advice you have for upcoming seniors?
A: “Don’t [wait until] the last minute for application deadlines and have fun,” Harris said.
Senior Natalie Hsu
Q: What school will you be attending?
A: ”I will be attending the Culinary Institute of America in New York,” Hsu said.
Q: What will you be majoring in?
A: “[I’m majoring in] management with a focus in baking and pastry,” Hsu said.
Q: How do you feel about this experience?
A: “I feel nervous and excited at the same time,” Hsu said.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most?
A: “[I’m really] looking forward to leaving and exploring new places,” Hsu said.
Senior Angie Mejia
Q: What school will you be attending?
A: “I will be going to Ventura College,” Mejia said.
Q: What will you be majoring in?
A: “I`m planning to major in fine arts to transfer,” Mejia said.
Q: What do you look forward to?
A: “Having a flexible schedule that will give me freedom” Mejia said.
Q: What do you feel prepared for?
A:” I feel prepared for the study wise and growing as a person and student,” Mejia said.
