Oct. 7, stands were filled for Buena’s girl’s varsity volleyball senior night and the last regular-season home game. The first serve of the game came from senior Breanna Griffin. She hit an ace for their first point of the night. Senior Buena libero Jessie Gomez served in the middle of the court, which put the Bulldogs ahead 5-1.
With Buena dominating, this did not allow Pacifica to pass the ball back, making the score 11-3. At this point, Buena called time out. Senior Abriella Kiel took the last serves for the first set. Kiel successfully got Buena to take the first set with an ending score of 25-22.

Soon enough the third set began. The first serve came from Hass, who got ahead 7-5 until the Bulldogs fought back with 18 points. A quick save from Gomez got the ball to the other side of the net, getting the Bulldogs to.
