Divina Miranda ASB president

Q. What are your greatest strengths as a leader?

A. I feel I’m very good at public speaking and making compromises. I enjoy bringing teams together rather than pushing them apart.

Q. What are your goals for next year?

A. Next year, I hope to evoke more school spirit. I’m able to make the school more of a community with more events to enjoy.

Q. Why did you pursue the role of ASB president?

A. I have been in ASB since freshman year, even during COVID. Someone who really influenced me was Ella Ha, last year’s ASB president. She was one of the reasons to do it and because I wanted to make my last year count by being President.

Q. What are your greatest strengths as a leader?

A. My endurance and willingness to put things together.

Q. What are your goals for next year?

A. My goal for next year is to make the events that I’m planning the best and hopefully include everybody to enjoy.

Q. Why did you pursue the role of class president?

A. I wanted to make a difference, which is a really hard thing to do and to achieve, but I’m hoping to strive to get there.

Q. What are your greatest strengths as a leader?

A. I’m determined and flexible. I’m very cooperative. I’ll take responsibility and won’t let anyone do the work for me. I hear other people and make sure to put their opinion before mine and make sure I have an open mind.

Q. What are your goals for next year?

A. I hope to make prom a success. I want prom to be good and memorable. I want prom to be something juniors and seniors look forward to.

Q. Why did you pursue the role of class president?

A. I am sophomore class president this year and Divina who is the current class president for juniors, showed me how fun planning prom was. Doing all these responsibilities as class president, I wanted to do that too, I mainly wanted to plan prom, but I like helping the school more than just prom.

Q. What are your greatest strengths as a leader?

A. My greatest strength as a leader would be hearing everyone’s ideas and being able to do something for the school.

Q. What are your goals for next year?

I plan on doing more events that are going to lift up the school spirit and we plan on making the events bigger and better like the carnival. We hope to expand that.

Q. Why did you pursue the role of class president?

A.I have always liked to be part of ASB. Divina is a great leader and I would like to be under her shadow.

Q. What are your greatest strengths as a leader?

A. As a leader, I believe my greatest strength is that I’m great at speaking with others as well as teamwork, especially working with others. I’ve learned how to deal with stress in tough situations.

Q. What are your goals for next year?

A. Growth-wise, I need to practice being more patient.

Q.Why did you pursue the role of class president?

A. I love opportunities. I’ve always wanted to go the highest I can go and I think it’s a great lesson that I can learn just being able to guide others. Trying to be an example is going to teach me a lot of things.
