Kimberly Solis, Section Editor

Kimberly Solis is a first year student journalist and the News Section editor. During quarantine, Kimberly passed her time watching her beloved Dodger baseball and it opened her eyes to new possibilities. She watched Dodgers reporter Kirsten Watson interact and report on players that she loved and wanted to be a part of that. With encouragement from her English 11 teacher, Kimberly was confident in her writing and was told she was a good speaker and decided that she would join journalism her senior year of high school. When Kimberly is older, she hopes to be a Dodgers beat writer for The Athletic or Dodgers reporter.
