Burger King (BK) is one of the many fast food places in the U.S., and, unfortunately, we have one right next to Buena High School. Recently, Burger King went under construction and closed temporarily. Many people believed that it was going to turn into a different fast food restaurant. After a lot of waiting and high hopes lifted, it turned into a new and improved BK.
I absolutely despise BK. The food is always cold and the fries are always half fried and wiggly. The last time I went to BK, they got my order completely wrong (mind you, the one next to Buena). Yes, this was probably a mistake, but I’ve given BK multiple chances, and it always gave me nothing but trauma and my calorie intake for the entire day.
Speaking of calorie intake, most of the food they serve is 200 or more calories. For example, small fries are 200 calories, a small sandwich is 250-300 calories and a large sandwich can get up to 1,700 calories depending if you get all the toppings.
No offense to those who have a love and passion for BK, or for those who work there, but I’ve just had very bad luck with BK
In addition, I have checked food rating apps, and many people have a hate for BK.
“Isn’t that false advertising to advertise the Yoda cup for a shake & not give any of your Burger King franchises any? I wanted a Yoda cup. SUCKS!” Linda said in a food review on Consumer Affair.
Another bad review is from a freshman in Buena High school named Amberly Avila , and she states that “It’s nasty and the food is cold. It is also really greasy and bad for your health and will also probably make your skin break out.”
Overall, the fast-food restaurant has a 2.0 rating. Yes, I understand it’s fast food. It’s known for the most part to be cheap, etc.But come on, we can do better than half cooked french fries. And the one next to our school isn’t much better. It’s passing with a 1.4 rating.
Again, this is just my opinion about BK, and I apologize to those who enjoy it. However, this is how I personally feel, and I believe there are ways the company could have improved the restaurant to attract more customers and encourage more people to spend their money there.
