McDonald’s is known for making various toys and menus for newly released movies and events. One of the best known is the Minecraft menu, which came out in April. These foods always bring excitement, and the newest addition, the Grinch Meal, promises to do the same. As it’s the Christmas season, it is the perfect time to buy it.

When I tried the Grinch meal, the first thing I noticed was the green packaging, which immediately reminded me of the iconic character from the movie. The burger itself was still warm, but the bread was a little too soft and the meat a little too tough. The burger was not special in terms of taste.

What stood out were the fries, which you get in a decorated bag. You add your own spice mixture called Grinch salt (Dill Pickle seasoning) and shake the bag to get it on the fries. The fries themselves tasted really good, and it was a cool experience since you normally don’t flavor your fires yourself.   

The last thing that came with the food were the socks, which had a printed face of the Grinch on them. There are a total of four different socks you can get. These were a nice little “extra” to the menu. So if you don’t necessarily feel like eating, you can certainly find them on the internet.

In conclusion, I can only say that the food did not make it special. It was more about the experience that came with it. Joshua Lagos, who tried the Grinch meal to share the same opinion.

So  if you are looking for a Christmas experience and love McDonald’s you should try it out but just for the food itself I wouldn’t recommend it.
