75 years ago, Jack in the Box was introduced into the fast food industry, starting in San Diego, California To celebrate this milestone for the company, Jack in the Box has released a new, special edition meal box.
This 75th anniversary meal contains a double chicken supreme sandwich, two tacos, seasoned curly fries, a drink and a surprise limited-edition Jibbi bag charm.
Not to be confused with Jibbitz, Jibbis are little keychains that look like the Jack in the Box clown face in a sort of fuzzy pastel onesie (the color of the onesie being whichever character you get). They hold a burger and wear the iconic yellow hat.
The meal has been trending on social media platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram. The attention grabbing Jibbis charms have brought attention and customers to the fast-food chain.
The double chicken supreme sandwich is one that has been known as a retro meal, one that has been brought back to life in this anniversary box.
The charms have been in high demand due to the resemblance of well known Tik Tok and world-wide famous Labubus. Consumers recognize the similarities, bringing even more attention to the meals and just their everyday, cute look.
Of course with the rarity and exclusivity within the keychains, collectors and everyday community members are seeking all the Jibbi. The assortment of Jibbi is limited, having different variants such as Saucy (Purple), Spicy (Pink), Icy (Blue) and the rare collector’s item, The Boss (Suit Guy).

75 years ago, Robert O. Peterson founded Jack in the Box, and the current headquarters are still near the first location in San Diego, California. Jack in the Box has over 2,200 locations with many of the locations being on the West Coast
Locally, there has been a high interest with these keychains in particular, as Buena Students have generally been stating their excitement for their next purchase of the 75th Anniversary meal.
In particular junior Valeria Terrace Munoz explains her experience with the new meal.
¨I heard that it came with a collectible, and I really wanted the collectible… I just thought they were very cute. I’d rate it a nine and a half out of 10,” Munoz said.
The meals will be out for a limited time, so be sure to get one while you still can!
