“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie-Paul’s life just got a whole lot less secret. The night of Feb. 17, 2023, Frankie-Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen got into a heated argument that led to neighbors calling in a noise complaint. When police arrived at the scene, Frankie Paul was found outside hysterically crying, which at the time, led to officers believing her to be the victim, but when a video leaked on TMZ , March 19, 2026, many minds started to shift and pull away from her side of the story.
As she was about to be the star on the reality TV show “The Bachelorette”, Frankie-Paul was about to start her new life. That quickly was taken away as “The Bachelorette” chose not to air season 22 (which featured Frankie-Paul) due to the controversial video leaked involving domestic violence.
In the video, it showed a heated argument between Frankie-Paul and Mortensen, ending with Frankie-Paul throwing a kitchen stool at Mortensen. Unfortunately, the incident led to Frankie-Paul accidentally hitting her young daughter and physical abuse towards Mortensen including yelling and hitting.. This happened just days before the new season of “The Bachelorette” aired, after spending around 25 million dollars towards the production.
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” co-stars were devastated to hear the news, but many say they were not shocked it got to this point in Franki-Paul’s relationship.

On the other hand, co-star Miranda Hope McWhorter spoke out on an Instagram story after the video was released.
“As a human, especially a mother, I cannot support this kind of behavior… My heart is with her children,” Hope McWhorter said.
