Needohs are a stress relieving toy, almost like a squishy. This stress toy first became a thing in 2017 but didn’t become popular until around 2020 when everyone was obsessed with fidget toys. However, the real rage started towards early 2026.
There’s something unexpectedly satisfying about a simple toy. And for me, that’s exactly why I like Needohs so much. With school, notifications, stress, sports and fast-paced activities, Needohs calm me down and help me focus during those hard, stressful days. It isn’t complicated, and they don’t require instructions; that’s the fun. The squeezing and popping that Needohs provide put me in a mindset close to heaven.
Some people say that they are way too expensive when others wake up at 4 a.m. just to get one or two. Yes, waking up at 4 a.m. is insane, but Needohs are worth the wait.
“The actual motion of kneading a NeeDoh may have a soothing effect and can help your mental health,” NBC news writer Bethany Heitman said.
I am obsessed with Needohs and squishies because of the look, feeling and decoration they have. Some are foam filled and some have a jelly or putty consistency, almost like slime. Needohs have many different shapes and different textures that I love very much. The different variety of food shaped stress balls they sell and provide are so cute. The variety of different feelings suit my needs and expectations for that type of emotion that I’m feeling. When you start to collect these cool squishes you understand the value and how much people would pay for Needohs.
One thing that I don’t like about Needohs is the chaos behind them. People will fight for Needohs, and I think it’s insane. Some people want something to fidget with while others steal them for decoration. Some people take these squishes too seriously.
In the end, I think that everyone should get themselves a Needoh. The calming sensation, the satisfaction and the simple squish that they deliver is irresistible . Having something to hold on to and calm you down really does make a huge impact. Even the smallest thing makes an impact on you.
