Homecoming: Carnaval style, was a major success, with record breaking positive reviews compared to previous years. Throughout the event, the dance floor, located on the Buena football field, was packed with students dancing the night away.

At a city council meeting on Sep. 16, a 6-1 vote for the permanent closure of Main Street to vehicles passed, maintaining the Covid-era closure of sections of Main Street and California Street, while resolving a long debated issue within Ventura.
